These cards were printed in the mid to late 1930s and included in packets of Carreras cigarettes. Each card is numbered and includes a flower description on the back.
These were "freebies," given away in cigarette packs to encourage customers to purchase more to complete a full set.
They were banned in the 1940s during WWII by the British government as a "waste of vital resources.
These are being sold per sheet of 10 cards. Or if you would like the whole set, you can purchase it for a discount!
Each card measures 2.75" by 1.25". They would be cute framed individually or in a collage frame. You could also use them for your papercrafting or scrabboking.
