This tin is an incredibly rare find, especially here in the U.S. It's from the Patterson Company, which was based in Toronto and opened in 1888. This tin is likely 100+ years old and not many can be found.
Vintage Marshmallow Tins are some the most treasured vintage tins of collectors, this one is sure to not last long!
Even with it's condition issues, it would make an excellent addition to your rare marshmallow tin collection.

Please note the following condition issues: This tin feels "dirty" to the touch, even after being wiped down. I would display it in a place where it will not need to be regularly moved. The graphics are quite faded, as you can see the original coloring just under the lid. Much of the front side graphics have also flaked off, and the back side graphics are almost completely gone. The graphics are not actively flaking more though, unless you aggressively rub the surface. It does have a few small dents on one side as well as rust spots on the base and lid.
