An absolutely gorgeous set for your table! These forks have mother of pearl handles that are embellished with a petal detail. There is also fine etching on the front and back of each fork.
I cannot locate any makers mark on these, and the exact manufacturer date is unknown. I would estimate though early 1900's.
These are silverplate, not sterling silver. and both the mother of pearl handle and silver fork show various levels of wear appropriate with their age--including some dings on the forks and a few small stains on the mother of pearl.
I would still consider these usable, maybe not for everyday dinner use but to have on a charcuterie board or graze board for guests to pick up meats, pickles, veggies, etc. Or you could display them in a pretty cup with the rest of your antique flatware collection.
