Vintage Italian Almond Candy Tin

The colors and scene on this Italian candy tin are fantastic!

The top depicts Christopher Columbus before the Council of Salamanca, while one of his ships can be seen on the front side.

This tin is Sperlari Fratelli Torrone di Cremona candy, which I believe is almond candy :)

While I find the rustic nature of this tin charming, I do want to disclose condition issues:

- Lid is dented

- Paint is worn off in spots on the lid (does not affect the depiction of the scene)

- Paint is worn off completely on 2 side panel pictures, and then partially on back and front panel pictures

- Inside is rusty

The tin measures 8.5" by 6" and is 2.75" tall

The original date is unknown.
